Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other related forms of memory impairment create medical, practical and emotional challenges which affect the whole family. Residents need safe, caring environments that promote a high quality of life. Families have their needs, too. These can include understanding specific medical conditions and developing ways of coping with day-to-day frustration, worry, uncertainty and other emotions. At Patriot Ridge we have developed a comprehensive Memory Care & Support program which ministers to both residents and families by providing support and peace-of-mind.

Our Approach
Our goal for our Memory Care and Support program is to maintain a friendly and tranquil environment where residents feel safe and welcomed. Our well trained staff provides meaningful and purposeful activities, allowing our residents to engage in their life skills and interests. We assist residents with daily living tasks and provide individual and group programming to positively stimulate their minds and spirits. Our staff works to provide each and every resident an enriched day and high quality of life.
Our program was designed with the special needs of those with memory impairment in mind. From the directional signage to the cozy sitting areas to the outdoor gardens and walking path, our residents’ needs and hobbies are honored and celebrated.
Our Staff
At Patriot Ridge, our staff is extensively trained to deal with all aspects of memory care. Our interdisciplinary team reviews each resident to ensure his or her specific needs are met.
